Financial Literacy Camp held at Baramulla

Baramulla, In a bid to disseminate awareness among masses with regard to various financial and banking services, J&K Grameen Bank Branch Pathla Baramulla in collaboration with NABARD today organized a day long “Financial literacy-cum-awareness camp”at Jahama kanispora Baramulla which witnessed the participation of various stakeholders and other prominent sections of the society.

Regional Officer Jk Grameen Bank Opinder Kishan was the chief guest at the event.

On the occasion, various schemes and their accompanying benefits were highlighted by several speakers who stressed for availing the benefits of these welfare schemes.

Branch Head, Mohammad Rafiq Shah acknowledged the role played by J&K Grameen Bank in turning around the lives of many. He signified the role of Bank in uplifting the socio economic conditions of people besides enumerated the progress made in various sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted about various loan schemes offered at reasonable rates by J&K Grameen Bank. He said that providing hassle free credit facilities for overall development always remains on priority. He also urged the public to approach their nearby branches for hassle free loaning and further spread awareness of these products among their friends and relatives so that its benefits are shared by all.
