Srinagar,Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s denial of having his country’s role in gruesome terror attack in Pulwama which martyred 49 brave CRPF jawans on February 14 was on expected lines. The neighbouring country, which is the biggest exporter of terrorism in the world, has been denying its role after every such terror attack. When India handed over a strong dossier to Pakistan in 2008 Mumbai terror attacks and asked it to handover Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and Hafiz Syed, the main perpetrators of the terror attack, it didn’t take any action till now.In November last year, Imran Khan himself admitted before a group of visiting Indian journalists in Islamabad that it was not in his country’s interest to have its territory used for terror outside, ‘but he could not be held responsible for issues like the 26/11 Mumbai attacks which he had inherited.” Khan was honest enough to admit that taking action against terror groups operating within Pakistan was not in his control as it is rouge Pakistan army which calls shots in the country.India’s position that there was no question of resuming a dialogue until Pakistan acted against groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammed that operate from inside its territory and have repeatedly targeted civilians and military personnel in J&K and the rest of India, is a right decision. Pakistan can’t be trusted and if Imran Khan says he wants to normalise relations with India then he should show some guts and hand over Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar, Dawood Ibrahim and other perpetrators of terror hiding in Pakistan to India. But whole world knows that Khan can’t do so as Azhar had extensively campaigned for his party during last year’s polls in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Under these circumstances, India needs to mobilise the international community to isolate Pakistan. Pakistan can never be trusted as its puppet government is in the run by the mullah-army nexus. In 2004, Pakistan gave a word to India that it will never allow terrorists to use its soil against India, but everybody knows what it did after that.Pakistan army has always taken its people for a ride by forcing the political leadership to raise anti-India rhetoric and support Jihadi outfits such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaishe-e-Mohammad. An army which has an affinity towards Jihadi groups that are being used against India can never be trusted.
