All Kashmiries are Terrorist’s as per army Chief: Akbar Lone

SRINAGAR, Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Sonawari Mohammad Akbar Lone today lashes out at Army chief’s statement in which he said that “stone pelters are over ground workers of terrorists and they should be dealt with sternly”.

Akbar Lone while speaking to News agency Press Trust of Kashmir said that “Government of India thinks that all the people either women, elderly, young boys, girls are terrorist in Kashmir. Until GoI can’t change their mentality about Kashmir they can’t achieve anything”.

He added that such statement clearly shows that they don’t want peace in Kashmir adding that by saying that stone pelters, and protesters are terrorist, then whole Kashmir is terrorist as per army chief’s statement.

He added that such statement should be condemned adding that such type of statements are unfortunate and army chief should change his mindset. “They (GoI) want to treat all Kashmiris like terrorist” he added.

“Kashmir issue needs to be solved, Either today or tomorrow India should solve it” Akbar Lone added. “If anybody is pitching for talks then he should not be silenced as silencing anyone will worsen situation further”, Lone said.

Army chief Rawat reiterated his earlier stand that the stone-pelters are nothing but over ground workers of terror outfits. “I still say the same… If they (stone-pelters) can kill people with such acts, are they not becoming like terrorists.”

“I want to tell them (stone-pelters) that no one will benefit from stone-pelting,” said the Army chief, adding tough action should be taken against the stone-pelters. He said the Army has got an FIR lodged in the case. (PTK)
