Surrender; Police, army make joint offer to militants in valley

Srinagar, Police and Army Monday made joint surrender offer to militants operating in Kashmir.

Addressing a presser in Srinagar, IGP Muneer Khan and Army’s Major General B S Raju made this offer. The duo was accompanied by CRPF top officials as well.

Khan while emphasizing on surrender said officers who help in surrender of militants will be rewarded.

The move is seen significant as it had come a day after Home Minister Rajnath Singh visited valley and reviewed the security situation.
